Ah this is unlocked. I never stated that you are "bag" whatever that means. All I want is the ability to get discounts. I just picked up a bumper for my car. With membership discounts it would have been 269$. w/o them its over 300$. Do you understand where I am coming from?

I just need a card, why is this so hard?

If its cheaper just photocopy one of the S2ki cards and send it to me so I can laminate it. I think that would work.

Because they no longer make them...

Explain this to your dealership. If they can't take your word, find another dealer, especially over 31 bucks.

If you do not make them, do not state that I will be given one

There is only one dealer near me.

I hate to put this since this site has lots of valuable info but to S2ki.

I should be entitled to a full refund of my membership fees, you cannot state that someone will be getting something for a set fee, accept that fee and honor that the fees have been paid then not send what was paid for.

This is very confusing to me. We have no such arrangements with dealers or anyone else for that matter. The only arranged discounts were with GFL and they are no longer around.

The machine used to print cards broke. The site was just never updated to reflect that we couldn't/wouldn't issue the cards anymore for a number of reasons:

1) They were never utilized for anything useful. We hoped we could attract discounts but that never gained traction.
2) They are expensive, 10% of the membership fees go to producing and sending the cards out. If they had a use then that wouldn't be so bad but as it was they were just a waste of money.
3) The machine used to print them works like crap and needs service.

I have no objection to printing cards but it only makes sense if they get used for something. It would be great if you guys could get some discounts and recognition but that takes the co-operation of the COs and while not naming names, some can be pretty useless or completely absent.

This is a little outlandish, but I agree with Doug. Although I believe that this is a little stretched, but still, its the principle of things. Hindsight's 20/20 though.

My suggestion - Contact your Community Organizer, and petition for them to create Local Membership cards.....since the membership cards help your community, this shouldn't be that big of a deal.
Then provide us with the images/logos etc to make them and maybe cover portion of that cost, if not the whole cost. Give us something to show to a potential local sponsor so that it makes it worthwhile to them to offer a local discount (free/discounted membership, a free advertising banner in each of the local communities etc).

How about a little recognition from S2KI (outside of the comp'ed membership and no flood control for CO's) in bringing in new members and/or new local sponsors? What's in it for us (the CO's) to bring in new members/local sponsors?

Nor did I HG (Shelly) ..

if you read my posts you'll see that i NEVER resort to name calling. I was a little taken aback by your response hence the reason i posted what i did..

until the "membership card" statement is removed from the Join s2ki become a member as one of the benefits, the statement is misleading. When new members sign up and see that they do expect to receive one nothing more / nothing less

i also do not think i ever asked for a password reset or help with memberships so i'm not too sure why you went off topic

looks like Erick addressed the issue and i hope he can take care of his customers one way or another
