So my Gold Membership expired today and I had no clue. I suggest an automated PM or email a week or few days before the membership actually expires as a warning. I would have renewed a week ago if I knew but didn't.

Also how long will my membership status be pending?

Fianlly I see that I'm locked out of my photo gallery, are all my photos lost and deleted forever?

 

For whatever reason, the site does not allow u to renew your membership prior to expiration. I agree it would be a welcome feature.

 

It's on the lengthy list of things to be looked at. We all agree that it's a needed feature.

Mav, your photos are not lost. When you renew, your album should still be intact (provided you don't wait too long to renew).

 

I just renewed this morning as a Gold Member and paid.

It still saids I'm a Guest still? I'm confused because last year when I renewed, it updated my membership immediately.

mav, I show your Paypal transaction in "pending" status, which means we haven't received the info that's it has cleared. Once that happens then the membership will renew and your status will change to Gold Member.

If that hasn't happened in a day or so, then get a hold of cthree and let him look at the Paypal account for you. Sometimes the communication link gets broken and we don't get the updates.
