Who cares if you get one or not??? I have one, so what. Just one more card to put in my purse. I swear, I don't know what it is for. WHAT ARE THEY FOR!!!!

 

I think I am going to put my up for auction on eBAY. Or... maybe one of you might want it. I will let it go for real cheap.

 

That really is not the point! I already got mine But a promised member benefit is a promised benefit! People have been semi patiently waiting for a very long time!

 

I'm in the same boat... Yet to receive mine. I don't really need it but I would like to have what they promised me...

I posted about not having received my membership card over a month ago... Still no sign of it...

 

Mine was the same...I received my card and it expired two months later. Unfortunately it is printed on the card...should leave that off. Now if I renew I have to wait another 9 months to receive my "two Month" membership card :-)

Bottom line (here's the support), we don't join to get a card or "benefits" perse, it is to support the community we troll in every night. To the best car forum out there

 

Hmmm...here is my .02 if anyone is interested. I received my "packet" and there really is no use for this. The card has an expiration date on it (unfortunately I received mine two months before it expired) and a nice picture in addition to your user name. I would imagine that it is expensive to produce (not $20 I know) and I have seen many people say they would just as soon not received it and had that money go into the support of the forum. Really, I agree. I will pay at least $20 per year to do my part to keep the forum up and running.

This is the best auto forum out there. The support is huge and participation is as well. I see people hanging around in this forum every day and they don't even have an S2000!

Do away with the membership card...it is a customer service nightmare. Someone posted above about a small forum sticker/logo would be preferable. This would be much cheaper to produce as it would not be personalized and would easily signify our membership. You could add the "year" or something if you wanted to update the membership each year.
