This forum is great, and I check it all the time when I'm out during the day. It does take a while to load each page and the view isn't great on a smart phone.

Are there any plans on making a mobile version of s2ki? An m.s2ki.com would be awesome. I'm not sure how intense the process would be, but I'm sure a lot of the working people on this forum would like to visit this forum while on the road as well. Happy Holidays!

 

It has become more and more important to support mobile platforms. We don't have a mobile version or "app" presently but it's high on our wish list.

 

 

I'm on the site most of the time with my iPhone. As long as you are using WIFI its pretty fast loading as long as you are not in the Picture Gallery. On the 3G it's pretty slow. I would love to have a mobile version or even an app would be awesome.

 

I've been watching the logs and until last year mobile was < 1% of visits. It's up quite a bit since then. iPhone changed everything.

 

Yup. I'm using my iPhone right now.

Like others have said, it woks well. My only wish would be, if I can't have an app, to have a set of settings for when I am using my phone and a set for when I am using my laptop or PC. That way I could leave images off for this thing but not miss anything when I am at my desk.

Is something like that possible?

It's not about want, it's about can. I am slammed right now with two other projects including search before I can even consider looking at a mobile version. I wan't to, absolutely, I just don't have the legs to do it all.

 

No hurry. I'll be first in line to test the beta version.
