I just wanted to know why I found many other cars for sale on this site, but after posting my cars and receiving MUCH flak from many people here, my cars for sale which are'nt anymore are locked? It seems kind of strange to me that mine are said to be commercial and I remember reading a thread by a HONDA salesperson advertising new S2000's for sale. Also, many other cars are for sale here and Mine seem to be the example of what not to do. Look, I just wanted to post some cars, however, it was'nt that simple. iI had to deal with all these guys who said my prices are ridiculous trying to rip me to shreds. I am more than a little frustrated here because I believe some of the moderators and the members are in the wrong!! Commercial, yeah right!! Then prove that my posts to sell my cars are commercial otherwise let me post!!

I didn't lock your thread but like I said before this is a S2000 Owners/Enthusiast site. You are trying to sell NSXs. Once again I bring up the fact that as a salesperson you should sell to your intended audience for best results. Forum policy allows dealerships to sell Honda "S2000s" on this site as long as they are sold at MSRP or below.

Not to start a pissing contest, but one of your first posts was an NSX that you were about to buy, then resell. Then the next day (or two) you posted a different NSX that you were about to buy, then resell. That sounds like a business to me, which would require you to be a sponsor. I had nothing to do with anyone locking your threads, and do not hold grudges. I even posted to your S2000 for sale thread 2 times with no profanity

Just to add my two cents in here -

To the seller - you shouldn't announce that you are a reseller of cars. That ruined it for you for potential buyers because they already know you purchased the car at x amount and must sell the car at x+y amount. So they know they will not get the best deal. If you sell as a private owner for something that you already own - you'll get more interest, even if your target price is above the average market value for the car.

Regarding the price of the car - even if it is a few thousand more than most out there, as a well aged car that costs much more to maintain per mile than the S2000, if all the books and records and scheduled maintenance have been done over the years, I don't see a problem. Some people will shell out a few dollars more for an exotic-level car that is well kept, than to get one at the bottom of the market, and a month later find out it needs something like a new clutch or major service which will cost a few thousand.

As for defending your price against others - I wouldn't bother, just set your price and leave it. If you have an interested party that would even want to try to talk your 'firm' price down - they will approach you.

No one "locked" your threads. I removed them from the board and sent you a PM telling you why I did so. Check your PM, then send an email to cthree@s2ki.com if you still have any questions.
