I made a purchase to EK_S2K in the amount of $500.00 for some Rota wheels in the middle of June, but now he hasnt responded to me in almost 2 weeks and I have not received the wheels. Is there any addl info. that the site can get for me in order to get in contact with EK_S2K?????
UPDATE 8/13/08: EK_S2K sent me my money back via money order. Please Un-ban him as the issue has now been resolved. Thank you for everyones help. This one ended with a good ending!

 

Nope. Only members care allowed to post things for sale and he is not so it was transacted under the table. He's nobody, completely anonymous to us. I've banned the account but that's all I can do.

 

This is why you dont purchase things from random Internet people....

 

Well it wasnt totally random. We had communication for over a week with constant back and forth pm's and he sent me alot of pics. I was kind of hoping maybe someone on here knew him as he had been a guest for a months and had quite a few active posts. I have already filed the claim with PayPal and they are processing my refund.

 

It's possible someone knows who this character is but he's unknown to the admins. There is very little we can do at even under the best of circumstances but for Guests there is nothing we can do other than give you the email addy he/she signed up with which could easily be a hotmail/yahoo/gmail address to nowhere.

Do you know what region he is from? Maybe post in their regional forum. See if someone knows who this person is.

Unfortunately, this is why S2ki has a member-only sale policy. It's not safeproof, but does minimize unforunate scenarios like these.

 

I agree with you. According to PayPal, he is located in Reno, Nevada.
