Multi-forum observation..
Hey,
I like the new "board" but I think you may want to limit the number of differant rooms. I like to be able to quickly check topics without having to open all the rooms. If I don't check every room I feel like I'm missing out on some cool Greggy post
.
Remember some of us are still using the ol'dial-up connection.

Along the same lines as this topic, I just posted an observation of the member traffic in S2000 International forum at: http://www.s2000online.com/forums/showthre...p?threadid=4770
The multiple forums are going to stay as is for the forseeable future. Quite simply having them is not a preference but a practical necessity, there is just way too much traffic in the main forum. I posted a message there last night at 2AM. As we speak it's sitting half way down page three. So now add to that another 200 posts/day some not designed for lots of feedback and they sink like a stone.
The auxilary forums actually do their intended function of organizing and deflecting traffic from the main room. Without this capability the site would be near useless. I suggest getting used to it because it's only going to get busier. As traffic increases (25K hits/day right now) the main forum it going to start looking like a stock ticker. There simply needs to be a place where things don't fly by so quickly (like meets and group buys like we have).
