I know there was a thread on this already, but it was locked. Unfortunately, I don't think the issue is fixed. Threads I've contributed to a long time ago are still popping up in "My Content" when they get new posts, but none of the threads I've posted to recently, including ones a short while ago, are showing up.

Any ideas?

 

Well, for whatever reason, it's working now.

 

Still a problem from my perspective. For example, I just posted to the Vintage Baseball 2011 thread, which was an old one of mine. It didn't show in My Content (7:36 AM), even though a posting from a Mid-Atlantic thread (Philly Cheesesteak thread not started by me) after that did. Also, my earlier posting that I'm editing now in this thread did not show, either. The postings all appear correctly in their respective forum lists. So it seems to be random. Probably isn't.

 

My Content comes from the search engine indexes rather than the main database. It is not updated until the search indexes are which happens every 15 minutes on the quarter hour (:00, :15, :30, :45)

The forum topic list comes from the main database so it is always up to date and current. That is why the two lists are almost never in sync.

 

I realize they aren't in sync. However, neither one has shown up in My Content yet and it's almost 12 hours later. So I think there is still a problem with missing posts.

 

When was the most recent reply shown on your my content list? Mine is about 5 hours ago which seems about right as I haven't participated in a lot of topics recently. Are they listed in reverse chronological order by last reply? Mine are and they should be. They are not ordered by the last time -you- replied but by the last time -anyone- replied. You know that?

 

It is now 8:25 AM. The most recent posting on My Content was one of mine - at 8:22 AM. They are ordered as you said and yes, I realize it is by last time anyone replied. Check this thread we are posting in now. Does it appear on your content list?? It doesn't on My Content *at all* and hasn't up to now, even though my first post was at 7:24 AM yesterday. Anyhoo, I just go to the Forums list to be sure I'm seeing everything. I would like to be able to rely on My Content, however.

BTW - I have it set to show all threads I've posted in or started.

EDIT...for whatever reason, this thread has just shown up in My Content, with the post from 8:34 AM. Not previously, though.

 

To test, I posted in the TEST POSTING thread in this sub-forum. As of now, 32 minutes later, that thread has not made an appearance in me My Content. As far as I can tell, I do see all other contributed threads - but I haven't not contributed to any new threads for a couple days now.

 

Best I can say is it isn't 100% accurate. I can't explain it and unfortunately I don't have the time to look into its idiosyncrasies right now due to an overwhelming need for my time on other parts of the site.
