If you're complaining about a -1 then you are probably a little thin skinned to survive an open forum for very long. If you are new then let me warn you now that this site is home to thousands of people and some of them aren't going like everything you say. It's a statistical fact. You are going to get a few negative ratings, that is just the way it goes. Your counter to that is to earn more positive ones.

You can start by giving some. I'd bet that most of the people who complain about negative rep have given more negative rep ratings than they have received and more than positive rep ratings. If the system is broken, fix it. I'm not going to interfere.
