How do you get back into the mobile version? I went to full version yesterday due to issues with reading pages, and now I can't get the mobile version to come back up. I have tried logging out and logging back in. I have closed all the windows and exited out of safari (ios). The latter one always worked for the previous version.

 

I think many avatars are too damn big. They need to be resized smaller heigh wise. There's far too much scrolling vertically imo. Also, is there anything that can be done with the stylesheets to limit the width of the page? On a widescreen 1920w monitor it's just too much text sprawled out.

I'm sure glad I didn't re-up my membership until after this update. I'm really not a fan of vbulletin.

 

Is there any way I can turn off the snapshot pics in thread titles in Marketplace?

 

On Chrome at least, the link is right at the bottom of the page to 'View Mobile site'

 

Thanks for the feedback on Related Threads. We don't currently offer a way to disable them, but I would like to clarify the functionality a bit. Our mobile layout will display a single related thread only after you reach the bottom of the thread you are currently reading. You won't see it until after you reach the last post on the last page of the thread you're on. If you're trying to get to the last page quickly and don't want to over-scroll into the related thread, consider using the >> pagination button along the bottom navigation bar of the mobile site. This will jump you to the thread's final page automatically without any need to scroll.

If you scroll to the bottom of the full site when on your mobile device, you should see a large blue button labeled "View Mobile Site". Clicking that will take you back to the mobile site and it'll remember your preference for future visits.

The site layout scales dynamically with the width of your browser window. So if it feels too wide when you browser is the length of your monitor, one option is to shrink the window itself. All post content will adjust according, including text wrapping sooner and photos shrinking to stay within the width you've chosen.

As for avatars, do you happen to have a link to any examples of avatars that feel too tall?

I made the post today at 4:18pm. I can see on the main forum index, I can also see it when I go into my profile then my posts. Yet when I click on the thread, I can't see that post.

x2 on turning off the pics in the marketplace.

 

Please try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then go back to the thread in question. If your post is still not appearing, please let me know.

If you don't mind, I'd also like to ask you the same question about the marketplace thumbnails that I asked redbadge: is there something specific you don't like about them?

 

Did those and still can't see it.

As for the thumbnails, its my preferences to read the thread titles rather then look at the pictures.

 

The web site transition straddled my s2ki membership purchase issue ( I paid but you guys couldn't see it, and then the site upgraded while I was trying to get a copy of my receipt to you )

I don't know if it's due to "can't find, look here" or "fuqt up migration" or other unknown possibilities...

On the security front I was looking at a thread NOT logged on and I could click any user and see their personal info, Address, Real name etc. Not being funny but this is not clever!!
