To get back on subject, I hope the changes will be browser neutral. I never use IE and would be unable to use the site if the changes required it. I've been using Firefox on Linux and never have problems with the current forums (except for spellcheck).

Oh, the elevated neutrino count could be the result of a Borg incursion!!

krazik uses IE and firefox on Windoze, I use safari and firefox on Mac OSX. Spell check on the Mac is moot because the browsers have it built in. You should be able to use the spell check with firefox, I've used it and had no problem. Linux shouldn't be a factor.

v4 will support:

IE 6 (windows)
Mozilla 1.6+/Firefox 0.8+ (all platforms)
Safari 1.2 (Mac)
MSNTV (not!)

Your milage will vary with other browsers and versions.

Speaking of Spell Checkers - is S2Ki's spell check function working?

It has not loaded in a week on either of my computers - and I NEED IT

Great, thanks for the info. The spell checker used to work fine, but for the last few weeks I just get a black pop-up with no text showing.
