Just FYI the search speed seems to be much faster that it was in the past and the transition between step 1 and 2 is seamless.
The bad news is that I'm not getting any results from the search. It is taking me to the index page but all I get is a blank gray line with no threads. Though it does show multiple pages, there are no threads on any subsequent pages either.

I tried to do a search by person for a specific term.
word: speedo
user: moparacker
It will show results with the "show results as threads" option, but not the "show results as posts" one.
