I was thinking if maybe we(and by we i mean a Mod/Admin) can create/develop a guns and ammo section. im looking to purchase a firearm in the near future, and im sure a lot of other people have questions or advice on G&A.

Personally am against in creating such a section, and I can justify it if requested.

However, the final decision is made by the administrators of S2KI.

 

I'm with Energetic about creating such a section, but understand your request. How about creating a hobbies & special interest section. Also, we can remove the RC and home and gardening sections as they do not get too many hits. This way less mods are needed..... I'll also volunteer myself as a mod if needed.That is all.

I think it's not a bad idea. The US is unique in its love for guns, something considered rather abhorrent in most other places, but there is a need as these topics end up all over the place in OT. Creating such a forum would be a benefit to those who don't want it because it will contain all the topics to a place they don't have to go.

I'll have a look at it in January.

Every time a gun subject comes up in OT, it seems to get plenty of play.

 

i dont recall every seeing a firearm topic in the OT, then again i travel there every so often, so i wouldnt be 100% accurate, i was just looking for more of a centralized place. something like the NA forum, or body and paint section...does that make sense?

 

I think just a hobbies section would be good and can have g/a topics in there as well as all other hobbies.
