I've had a PM from someone with a question I can't answer. If you are a Guest (i.e. you haven't paid to be a member of the forum), can you still be logged as an Owner?

We have someone who (I think) is not a Member and who has entered their VIN but is not being accepted and logged as an Owner

cthree et al are pretty busy just now, which is why I'm asking you guys and not them

Thanks

Pete

PS
I've been to look at the features/benefits of membership but this issue isn't covered

I know there was a period when I was a guest and owner at the same time, after I had registered my VIN but before I had paid my subs.

It might be however that that only applied to people who had registered on the board before cthree introduced the charging mechanism, and that you now can't register as an owner until you have coughed up....?

Hi Guys,

Wasnt there a thread about this a while ago where someone had this same issuse. I think they had an import like me and it takes time for Honda UK to get their act together and then CThree to check the database to confirm the VIN number. Could it be that Cthree is too busy to check or the cars VIN is not registered yet

Still waiting for my warranty etc from Honda Uk 3 weeks now and have been told it could take upto 6 weeks, hence i have not even tried to register yet

P.S i will do.

I originally came on as a Guest/Enthusiast, since then I bought my S off a Member/Owner (UKJasonm) but I can't get my account to change to Guest/Owner cause when I enter the VIN it gives me a error, i assume this is because it has already been entered??
