If the PPD's aren't as apparent... I think it would greatly lessen the tendency.
ing are also driving up the usage stats which affect the rates for adverstising.

I have a suggestions....
Was wondering weather to get the membership or not a couple of months ago...but decided to support s2ki so i got it.my reason for thinking about it was, what as a member do i get that i didn't get as a guest....do i not get PM's...do i not get badges....do i not get to post in theads....do i not get to buy things from the group buys...well you know the answer to those...
maybe if you gave guests the basic... like just posting in threads nothing else.then maybe they would consider getting a membership....
I'm not really a computer type of guy but i'm sure it takes alot of $$$ to keep this place running....running correctly.
just a thought....

why cant s2k sig icons be disabled? not to pick on guy above, but he has those 5 flashy animated Gifs and theyre annoying. sorry, dont care if someones part of electronics junky ro socal crew or north carolina crew or forced induction crew.

Ok ... I just tried to change the setting ... and it does eliminate sig text/pics from the display. The badges appear not to be part of the editable sig, which kind-of makes sense as they're assigned to the user by the CO's or other site admins.
Changing that setting would eliminate everything but the badges, if that helps your experience. I personally find most of the other sig attachments entertaining. Sure, there are a few that are distasteful, but on the whole, it's just folks having fun.
I think the entire sig/badge set only appears once per page for each user ... change your posts per page from 25 to 100, and you would at least eliminate some of the badges.
