you're not seeing the 2 red x's in my sig? What are you seeing then?

As for the problem you are having Triple... I'm not sure what the hell you're describing!!

Obviously a privacy option would be nice... but the way I previously loaded pics into my sig was:

1. "copy shortcut" for the picture
2. Go to Sig and type "[*IMG]" paste shortcut, and then "[*/IMG]"

But now, when you click on the picture... all it does is bring up a blank screen.... with lines of code on it. So if I copy the shortcut into an IMG... then it shows up as the red x's.

Is there a way around this?

The link you are using is incorrect...

You are using:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=m...d=si&img=161581
and
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=m...d=si&img=161580

Which are within a gallery page, not the image themself. Try these:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=m...mage&img=161581
and
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=m...mage&img=161580

And then "this photoalbum issue" will be fixed.

PS - why the hell do you want to advertise a bank in your very large sig anyway?

joeking1978,

Yes, I see your red circles with white Xs, very attractive and cool.

Yes, when you add pics to your photo album (or go into edit) you can make your image folders Private- only you can see what is in your photo album, or Public- anybody can open up your photoalbum and look at your pics.

The proces I described is the only way to post images in a Private folder because those private folders do not show up in the drop down window on the Reply page.

BTW in my post above joe, the software shortens the URL, so to use the proper url quote my post, and you will see the full url

Hope that helps

Oh and i realised, my browser doesn't show red X's - it just shows the alternative text if the image link is broken

Triple - the admins are aware that is an issue, and I'm sure they are coding or it is on their list to fix. If you have any idea how to code it let them know

I'm experiencing a different photoalbum problem. When I view the thumbnail page for images in one of my folders, the thumbnails display correctly. When I click on a thumbnail to view the full-sized image, a new page opens as " S2KI Forums -> Gallery -> MyS2000 -> Viewing image " but the image is just a random S2KI sponser banner, not my image. I click reload, and it displays a different banner image. This goes for BOTH images that were in the album prior to the v.4 changeover, and to images I have since uploaded.

So it would seem that some of my photoalbum images have the full image, and not thumbnail, while others have a thumbnail and no full image.

Sorry, I can't code, I can only point out what needs work.

You say you are sure they are working on it, there is your optimism coming out. I have not seen a thread or even a reply where they said they were working on it, that is my pessimism coming out...

I hear from lots of people about this problem, and I have no solid reference I can have them read that it is being worked on and a tentative date it will be fixed. Therefore the purpose of my replies is to show other people that they are not alone and maybe the attention the thread gets will help get the problem resolved.
