If you have a link which is commercial and it being flagged as such then why don't you change it to something less obviously commercial? Why not label the link "About Me..." or some such? If you really want to stand out you could try: "Refinance and get a free iPod. Click here to find out how". You are running your business and I'm running mine. You sell mortgages and I sell ads to people who sell mortgages. At no time have I ever said or implied that membership, gold or otherwise, imparted any form of advertising privileges. I'm sorry if you thought that to be true but it is not.
If you want to advertise your business then I have a package for that but honestly I don't think you can make it pay for itself and would recommend it for someone in your industry. You could run a google ad but that would probably cost you more than being a sponsor and would be an equally bad way to invest in new business.
Why? It's simple. You've made 12184 posts. I don't know how many pages that accounts for if we can assume you don't post more than 3 times on any one page then that's 4000ish signatures, each containing an advertisement permanently embedded right in the middle of the content that every eyeball that ever passes over the page will see. Forever. Not even the sponsors get this privilege as they must remove their commercial signatures when they stop being sponsors which removes all of the ads they have posted. Sure your ad is small but it is seen millions of times by tens of thousands of people and as you may be aware advertising is all about repetition, repetition, repetition.
That my friend is what I sell and for a lot more than $50/yr as I'm sure you can appreciate. You are squatting on grade A prime real estate.
