A few of us notice that PMs take a while to load/open? I have noticed this since we now get the green alert box letting us know we have a PM.

This morning, I had a couple of PMs that didn't have the green alert box and they opened quickly.

I've noticed it too. This morning it took 25-30 secs to load my inbox after clicking on the link in the green bar. I am running IE7 on Vista. Te rest of the site was working great.

 

The more PMs in your box the longer it takes. You should delete your clutter and it will load much faster.

 

Interesting. I do have a lot of PMs in there.

So it parses all of the PMs? Not just the first page worth?

 

I deleted a few hundred (*cough thousand*cough) PMs and I noticed that it does indeed load much faster.



A way to see more PMs on a page would have GREATLY assisted my effort.

 

They are sorted by date and therefore the database needs to fetch them all before showing you just a page worth.

 

I never keep more than about 150 PM's

 

Then you're just not trying hard enough.
