My thanks to the administration and moderators for temporarily suspending the ban on politics. What has happened to the United States is emotional and political, and having a place to talk about it is very helpful to many people on these forums.

Many thanks for your insightful response to the American crisis.

 

i think that this is not the place to talk about it, there are many other places to do so. Talking about politics has lead to nothing but trouble, I'm using my ignore list for the first time.

This is a close knit group of mostly friends, most of whom are hurting in one way or another because of the tragedy this week. Overwhelmingly, this group is expressing grief, anger, and patriotism in the wake of this, and I very much appreciate the camaraderie of my online friends during this.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who isn't working at the moment, and this site gives us the opportunity that others of you have with coworkers to share in all of the emotions that accompany this sad time for our nation.
