I have just posted a new topic with some images from my flickr account below is the URL for the topic

And here is the syntax used, [ /IMG ] tag on either side of the url

Image link shows as broken links, and shows as posted image text.

What am i doing wrong??

You need to post the link to the actual image itself, not the page the image is shown on.

Right click the picture, choose a size and right click to get the photo url.

Looks like you have restricted BBcode links in your flickr, so if you un-restrict that in your flickr account, there will be an option to get BBCode for your pictures
