Hi,
I sent a PM this morning, but the message did not appear in my Sent Items folder, nor did the total number of messages increment accordingly. I tried sending the same message to the same recipient again, but the issue still persists.

Is this a known issue? Is it safe to assume that the recipient received my message?

Thanks!

edit: It appears the recipient did receive the message.

It sounds like you are not saving your sent messages. vBulletin does not save them by default. Double check that you've checked the box labeled "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" on your User CP's Edit Options page. This will ensure that a copy of every PM you send is included in your Sent section.

Hi Admins, I'm also unable to PM users and I also get an error message saying that I do not have permission to access this page when I try to access my own profile. I did just make my account yesterday though, so if it's because of that please let me know.
Thanks!

Correct, all new guest accounts have a 2 week suspension period before PM’s are active. There is also a 3 post requirement to make it active.
If you sign up as a Member all the restrictions are removed.
