Default Problems loading this site.

I am using WinXp Pro, IE6 with SP2. When I come to this site most of the time the banners load but no topics are listed. If I refresh it loads ok. If I type a message a lot of the times the post does not get posted and I have to go back and hit submit again. If I read a post and then hit the link at the bottom to go to the main forum I get the same problem again.

I have cleared my cache and cookies. I even removed SP2 to see if that was the cause to no avail. I get the same problem with ebay and hotmail but no other sites.

Any suggestions or is this a known issue?

I find the site is pretty slow to load but the other problems I have are seeing images, my firewall is preventing it and I haven't got around to figuring out how to change the settings.

Do you have a firewall? You could try turning it off and seeing what happens.

Got the same set up as you Rahul.
Had some problems with the firewall until I decided this might be a trusted site.
Otherwise - apart from the odd glitch - site down or slow occasionally - no problems

It's probably a firewall issue. If you use Norton Internet Security DUMP it, and get something less cpu and memory hogging. (alternatively if you want to keep NIS, there is a solution, I have posted it before on site info - search for my name and +Norton +Internet +Security

IE is also pretty crap, so try a better browser like firefox

The firewall is MS ISA server. I don't seem to get this problem apart from three sites this one, ebay and hotmail. Could you help with this because I can't figure it out.

Problem solved. It appears that IE6 was acting up because of all my saved forms and passwords. I had cleared my cache, history and restored everything to default without success. Tonight I cleared the form and passwords and like a miracle it all works now.
