Profile menu won't allow me to click on anything

Profile menu won't allow me to click on anything
using ie 9.
when i click on the arrow to open the my profile menu so i can click on "my content", it just automatically goes to my profile.
i can't click on any of the options under the menu.
the menu will appear and without even selecting anything, it goes straight to my profile.
what the heck.
