I've done another quick update to the Gallery. When you view the image and if the image has it it will display information from the camera (EXIF data). Here is a sample. Click it to see what I'm talking about and then look under my name info:

Another quick update before I head out to a local meet:

When browsing your albums you'll see a new button "Avatar". Click it and presto, your avatar is set to that image! It should only work with your own photos in your own albums. Before you try it out make sure you save your current avatar!!

Avatars will be converted to JPEG as a matter of simplicity. If you want to use a GIF or animated GIF you'll need to do it the old way. This should work a treat for photos tho.

 

^neat new feature.. but i think it needs a constraint for how wide the avatar photo can be.

Don't forget to clear your browser cache after you change your avatar or you won't see it for up to 24 hours!

I think the image counts are wrong in a number of cases. I'll write a script to recount and update the item counts for albums.

 

That is a spammed up album i had problems with - remember i tried uploading 400 images to it one time when i was hassling you on IM
