How do you guys do it? Do you all manually type "Originally posted by" then type in the name, then surround it in italics, then quote it, then bold the quote? Isn't there an easier way?

Use the "quote" button on the person's message you wish to quote. It's in the upper right-hand corner. You use that instead of the "post reply" button.
