Default "Rate this thread" at thread end?
When finishing a thread you are at the bottom - perhaps "rate this thread" could be there in addition to the top?

Rate this thread is at both the top and bottom. At the bottom it's a pulldown box instead and that's probably why you missed it.

However, since there may be other inobservant souls you may consider using same format at end (rather than drop down menu). Ahh....the learning curve.
