Red Stars, Blue Stars?

Red Stars, Blue Stars?
I can understand gold members, guests and members, but what's with the stars? Sorry to keep cthree and krazik busy answering these questions when they could be setting up e-mail accounts, etc.

The stars show how long you've been a member. Gold stars for gold members, red stars for regular members. You are supposed to get 1 star per year. The number of stars is random at the moment, not sure what they mean at present.

A little late seeing this (i've been away for a while) and I was wondering the same thing as QPhox4.
In my opinion, they're great. Shapes and colors are sooooo much easier than those pesky words and numbers.
