To the directors of s2ki -- I noticed that you have a nice regional club listing:

https://www.s2ki.com/library/clublist/index.php

Among the regional club websites listed is s2000atlanta, which has Forums just like the new SoCal website does:

http://www.s2000atlanta.com/forums/index.php3

And they even have some of the same sponsors as s2ki:

http://www.s2000atlanta.com/cgi-bin/sponsors.cgi

Being a threat to your sponsorships was really the only thing I could guess was the "problem" you guys have with the SoCal website. Even then it is unlikely that we *could* be a threat. However, the above link from s2ki to Atlanta's website kinda shoves that theory out the window. If you endorse them, why not the SoCal website?

If you guys are stuck in some sort of business or financial perspective, then I would venture to suggest you embrace this recent development, not attack/censor/hide from it. I can understand if your initial reaction has led you down a path that you wish you could change but have too much of an ego to admit mistakes, etc. That happens to the best of us. But, do something positive about this very soon, because s2ki is digging itself a deeper hole with every unexplained & uncalled-for action.

Many thanks for listening!

The Atlanta club has been undemanding, non confrontational, never spammed our members or sponsors, and has never slandered us publicly.

In turn we are happy to support them as we are happy to support anyone in the s2000 community that shows us the same respect.

This is an excerpt of the e-mail message the site sent to every one of our sponsors.

Hi there, as you may or may not know, there will soon be a new web site launched as the home of Southern California's s2000 owners. While focusing on this specific part of the world, the web site will be welcoming members from all over the globe and is already guaranteed a large presence due to the recent unrest experienced over the last months at s2ki.
There are other public posts too. I recomend you read thread #18 on your board entitled "Disrespectful behaviour from the owners of s2ki.com"

The account was deactivated for spamming and he was contacted about it. As far as I know he never bothered to reply to discuss it.

Joel says this (not knowing it was going to be posted here when he said it):
"cthree mailed me asking me not to spam sponsors - three people - using their pm system, so I apologised for being inconsiderate and using s2ki's system for doing that - cthree said if I want to get emails then it was fine, so I did just that - personally contacted them via email"

Hi Guys

Joel here - (Notion)

The unrest I was talking about was the dissing of the quality of each others products by the sponsors themselves and had nothing to do with the events around a socal members crash.

I proceeded to contact sponsors after cthree pointed out that he didn't care if I chose to use my own email to contact them and not PM them - which I admitted was unfair and I apologised without reserve.

I have contacted many sponsors, ones featured here and others that are not, because it is a free market and I am offering them additional exposure not competing.

As for public comments, well there has been a little of that from both parties, so for my part I apologize.

I'd just like to add that the hostility has all come from Krazik not from cthree.

cthree has always been professional and cordial in his communications with me and for that I thank him.

As for Krazik, well that remains to be seen

I think we've had a bit of miscommunication here if not a lack of it. S2000 International is a strong supporter of local clubs and supports the formation of local groups because, well, it's a lot of fun to hang out together and meet some great friends. This has turned into a confrontational issue and really shouldn't be.

I think it's important that we put all of this to rest because it does nothing good for either of our organizations and is generally bad for the community at large. I please ask that queries and communications regarding local clubs be directed to HondaGal or myself. That will avoid much of this current problem.

I would kindly ask that this tone cease. I have not received any direct request to be added to the club list. If the SoCal group would like to be added, please contact me or HondaGal and we would be more than happy to do so. I'm not sure where this nonsense started but let's end it. Please refer to our official communcations as they are the only reflection of policy, everything else is just personal emotions getting in the way.

HondaGal is the Membership Director and the primary liason with local clubs and groups. You can contact her at hondagal@s2ki.com and she will be more than happy to offer any assistance she can. If you are unable to get ahold of her, please contact me at cthree@s2ki.com.

Thank you.
