Default search engine not working?

Hey i dont know if its just me or if you guys are already aware but the search engine is messed up, if i try to search topic titles i put something in and click search, and it ends up searching for "search forums..."

its searching the default words that go in that box, when i search posts it works fine but the searching of titles wont work. also when i try to search something with "quotes" it also searches "search forums..."

is anybody else having this problem? its been going on for about 3 days now.

Is doing the same thing for me. If you go to a specific forum and search from within the forum it works, but then won't go past the first page of the results.

If you do it from the main page it searches for "search forums" no matter what you put in the field.

I've noticed it also. What seems to be happening is that even though you type in your search, it still looks up in the upper right hand corner where the other search box is and searchs for those keywords. (Which happens to have "search forum..." in it.)

I've made a fix for this that will get updated on the next release cycle. For now please click the search link and don't use the quick search box.

the search link is doing it too. It either says something went wrong, or does the search forums thing.

Highly unlikely. It may say something went wrong but it will not search for "search forums". It's not part of the search code, it's part of the forums code.

I get that "search forum" biz too. Also, I can't get the search function to work in the "For Sale" forum.

it looked like some page refresh thing to me. Like i entered in the field, "irony" then it looked like after I hit the search button it seemed like it refreshed the page so search forums was back in the search field.

Search doesn't work for me either. I enter x-brace, x brace, and brace, and gor 0 results for all of them. And this was in "S2000 Talk", not the main page.
