Hi guys, I was wondering if it was possible to see the first few lines of a thread when you hover the mouse over the thread title. At the moment it just tells me when the thread was started, but on other forums it shows the first lines of the thread without having to click on it.

Is this possible on s2ki?

Anything is possible, but that puts much more load onto our database server. That's a new query for reach topic...IMO not worth it.

 

It would bring the site to dead stop. Definitely not worth it.

 

The only way to do that efficiently is to store those first few lines with the topic and that would involve significant code changes. Maybe someday in the future but definately not a front burner issue.
