Signature question
Let me preface this by saying that I know about this site's policies, and I'm not trying to argue anything, I just want to clarify this issue.
Over the past month or two, I have had some members contact me asking me to do custom photoshop work on their cars for a fee. I agreed, did the work for them, and they paid me. This was handled through PMs and through posting in the members' "photoshop request" threads. After this, I posted a short message in my signature stating that I'm taking paid requests for photoshop artwork, and to PM me for more info. A few days later, it disappeared, so I put it back in my signature, only to have it disappear again today.
So, my question is, is this considered "commercial posting" if I put this message in my signature? Is it "commercial posting" if I handle it through PM on a case-to-case basis? If someone starts a thread offering to pay for photoshop work and I respond, is this allowed or not?
Just want to clarify this...

The simple answer is yes, it is a commercial posting. You are offering a service or product for a fee through S2Ki. Only forum sponsors are allowed to do that. The nature of your offerings are irrelevent.
If someone posted asking for some photoshop work and was willing to pay, there wouldn't be much of an issue if you said, I do that for a living, PM me and let me know what you're looking for, as an isolated transaction.
But on a continuing basis, we can not allow that.
Granted it's not something I imagine, you or anyone else would sponsor, but for a relatively small fee you could sponsor the forum with a banner, and people could contact you if they wanted your services.
If that is of interest to you, feel free to PM me.
