Hope this doesn't trigger a flame war - I love PCs, Macs, Android, Linux etc. equally

I'm having serious problems using this site on Safari on macOS. Opening any thread seems to cause Safari to more or less bog down and crash (for that tab), repeatedly, on multiple computers all the way up to a fully kitted M1 Max. I don't have this problem on macOS Chrome, and I don't have any issues whatsoever on other platforms. Nor have I seen this behavior on macOS Safari with any other sites. I'm mostly in a "just use the PC" mode so it's not a big deal, but I'm somewhat intellectually curious about it and wanted to see if anyone else was having issues.

 

can you share a screencast or screenshot of what you're seeing? I am using an m1 iMac and can't replicate your issue.
