We have made a small change to the signature code which hopefully will reduce redundancy. Signatures will only be displayed on the first post you make in a thread and not on followup posts whether you select include signature or not when you make that post. Obviously if you don't include a signature you won't get one as before.

This is brilliant. I've seen this on other forums. I've tried in the past to NOT use my sig in subsequent posts in the same thread but I didn't always remember to chech the box and in time I just gave up trying to remember.
ps. For example, seeing Kermit "hump" that other poor plush toy the first time might be "cute" but seeing it again and again and again just becomes too ignorant and childish. (You know what I mean, Vern? )

I don't think you'd see any change in load times as each signature is only loaded once and then displayed multiple times. The only real change now is that the signature will be displayed only once and that will make the pages shorter, not really any faster.
