Default Spell checker?

Lately, I've been having problems with the spell checker when I'm creating a topic or replying to one.

It works, sort of, but it's not recognizing words properly. You know how it highlights a word it doesn't recognize and then gives you a list of possible replacements? Well, it's how it's highlighting the words that's messed up.

For example: "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country."

Note that it's not highlighting a complete word. It's catching the first part of one word, continueing through the space between words, and catching the first or second letter of the next word. Then it obviously had problems coming up with replacement suggestions. And, it's doing this with words that are, as in this example, not misspelled in the first place.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Steve R.

I wouldn' t rush it too much. I don't think more than 10% of the people posting bother with it anyway.

Thanks Cthree. It probably hasn't been that long but it sure feels like it has been. Will try to be patient!

It doesn't spell things right when it is working anyway:

Organizer should be Organiser
Optimize should be optimise

etc.....
