I get these sometimes, too. I use the option that asks me if I want to accept a cookie before it is allowed to plant it. I always thought they were from a link or a picture that someone has posted in their reply or sig.

Foxfire all the way. It has built in spyware blocker, that works pretty well....not 100%
but 90% of what youll pick up with Internet Explorer. Also check out the Tab feature, it allows you to have several internet TABS open under one application window. This is really good when using multiple programs, frees memory.

I work at a computer networking company. All i can say is the techies practically had hardons when this thing release a lil while ago.

http://www.mozilla.org/ Check it.

I believe what you are seeing is due to there being one (at least one, I don't think there are more) vendor that uses doubleclick to serve their ad banners so you're getting the doubleclick cookie warnings.

You can opt out of doubleclicks cookies here: http://www.doubleclick.com/us/about_double...vacy/ad-cookie/

Maxthon does the job for me.

Settings include...

Auto Popup Blocker
Web Ads Blocker
Floating Ads Blocker
Web Dialog BLocker
Active X Blocker

.. and you can set them individually or turn the whole lot on/off with a single click while retaining your settings.

The skinnable multi-language browser also has a Tab based interface which IMO is easier to use than FireFox's.
