Sounds like a good project for my next vacation.

I'll probably wait until Nationals is over. Seems to be a good / natural point to get more opinions on what works and what doesn't. I think part of the difficulty is that local clubs and competitors often have widely differing opinions on "what works." Since there's already so much variability in driving style and prep, it seems logical to streamline / focus the discussion around Nats prep and branch from there.

 

Thanks for taking this on. Jon (IntegraR0064) just pointed me to this thread. I had started to dissect the STR Prep thread into a summary a long time ago before I realized how big a task it was. At this point it would be easier for some of us to just write it out from memory for a 90% solution.

The outline I was working to is below. If someone want the word document, which has some parts filled in, I can send it. A wiki type page may work better for some of this.

I pretty much stay away from the STR thread as its so difficult to find anything. You're basically left with sifting through the thread hoping to find what you're looking for or just re-posting somewhere and hoping one of you guys posts a link to the topic you're seeking.
