Default Thread Preview shows the creation date?

I'm using firefox, other forums I go to that have thread preview (where you hover your mouse over the thread title and it gives you the first couple of lines) works fine.

but over here, it shows the thread creation date, i mean what the heck is that information good for? is this done on purpose? can we change it so it previews the post not the creation date?

Other forums use different software. If it can be done without adding a huge amount of overhead it will be. You'll find out when an update to s2ki.com comes out in a few weeks.

PLEASE don't do this - those are the MOST annoying things at all

If people put proper titles and descriptions for their threads, there is no need for preview - the title and description says if the thread is of interest to the reader

"If" being the key word.

You find this annoying or just not useful?? Not sure why you would find it annoying.

Both. Scrolling down a page of threads, with a damned yellow popup popping up every topic you scroll over, blocks the view of the other topics. I'll find a forum that does it and post it

Now, the way it is done on NewCelica.org is quite ok the one's I've seen previously had a massive yellow box with almost the whole post in

The delay is long enough on that site to mean that just moving down the page with the mouse is ok
