Thumbs up Thread says new post but there isn't
On occasion I will be in a forum that I frequent and a thread will say that the
last post was some time during the current day, but when I go into the thread,
the last post is from days prior to the current day.

Any idea why this happens? Is it something that's happened to others?

is it a poll by chance? it shows up as "new" anytime someone votes.

They may have been polls...I'll double check next time I see that happen.
