Default Thread starting and locking threads?

I started a thread last week that was time relevant. I received answers to a question and would like to lock that thread.

I believe I was always able to do that in the past, with a small drop down or link at the bottom of a thread. For this thread, I'm not able to.

So I was wondering if only members are able to lock their own threads, or can guests do it as well? I've been both a member and guest while at S2Ki over the years, but don't recall if the scenario has happened in one, the other or both scenarios.

Hey Gary, you are correct, in the past, if YOU started a thread, YOU could lock it. I don't see any reason why that would change ..... regardless of your Member / Guest status.

That's incorrect. The option to lock a thread, regardless of whether you started it or not, is a member only option.

ludedude is correct, it is currently a member feature. It shouldn't be but right now that is how it works.
