It seems to sync after a while - so might be server time sync issues?

Look at "test part 2" thread created at 7:02 a.m., only post in the thread is the original and it's time stamp is 12:02 p.m.

fixed!
For the curious: it was converting from time (GMT) to string (GMT -7 for Los Angeles), then back to a unix timestamp and once again to string (again -7) thus leaving you 7 hours behind (and me 3 hours behind since I'm at GMT -3).
