It may be because there isn't anyone on the board right now.

What kind of speeds does this site have connecting to the I-net? and where's the bottleneck when they hit 700-900 users? That seems to be where it slows down....

Definitely depends on how many are on the system at the time. My general experience since the upgrade is that it's not quite as fast (on average) as the previous version. They are still working on some issues so maybe things will improve as they get all the bugs worked out.

I can only imagine how complicated this is for the folks who are trying to make it all work. All in all, I think it's coming right along. Could be better, could "definitely" be worse.

Keep up the good work, guys!

Steve R.

I think it's got a bit better than dead slow, it's now just very slow. (at times, but there's a lot of them)

Well, Erik mentioned that he has split reads and updates to the database onto two different servers in an effort to improve performance. Maybe you are seeing some results from that effort?

The site is pig slow. The splitting of the reads and writes crashed the servers so it's back how it was. We're aware of the slowness and are working to redesign much of the software to make it better for us.

Ooooo, that sounds like "fun" to me!

Hang in there guys, we appreciate the efforts.
