Nominal discounts for events organized via s2ki would be nice also.
EDIT: Actually, membership cards with an eyelet on them so they could be easily attached to a lariot (sp?) and worn as a nametag at events would be excellent! Screen name and real name on them.

I know that functionality of existing forum features is not in the scope of this discussion, but um... before handing out extras, it sort of does make sense to have buttons do what they are supposed to do. Every button on my car works as intended. When one doesn't, I have it fixed. It would be nice if search buttons or "my content" or "participated" links actually provided the anticipated or implied results.
No no... it IS (my tangent) in discussion.... The question I got from IB was, "What specifically do we want to see as far as the forum itself goes". Stability is obviously one..and I think we have that.. no unscheduled outages as of late. SQL errors have diminished significantly (but I did see Jim report one the other day and I've send that over). The Content issues (both New and My) are on the table. Site speed is on the table. Ads and popups is on the table (and if levels of membership will remove some/all).

^^ Well, ok then, top priority is to fix sh** that is broken, deal with the SQL errors/slowing (which still happen some but now in the wee hours in the US perhaps because they moved the maintenance window; nice for us, probably sucks for the rest of the world), and kill ads that make the site intolerably slow to load or have faulty certificates that make antimalware apps go ape sh**. This is for everyone.
For members, yes I would want the number of ads to be significantly reduced. Having some ads is useful in multiple ways and it encourages sponsors, but make the ones to members be less intrusive.
Roadside assistance plans. Yeah, I want free autoclub.
And free hookers.

I met Charlie last year when he was hurt.. He was the guest speaker for HPD.. he talked about MidOhio, the track, and then we toured the paddock and talked to his engineers, Indy Tech, Firestone, HPD, etc... Charlie was super nice.. it was really cool to see him win this summer..

Mocky - would IB be interested in helping out the local CO's with things like cards etc. so we can card new members or refer people to S2KI?
If not, I know some CO's have done this in their communities. Just wondering if they got any support from S2KI or paid out of pocket to get things like cards done
