At one time, there was an automatic "blank line eliminator" for quotes, such that if the original post had multiple blank lines, all the redundant blank lines are squeezed out and there is only one blank line left in the quote. Now I noticed that posts with lots of blank lines are being quoted verbatim. So what happened to the "blank line eliminator"?

I think that was a hack back in vbb days, we're on invision boards now, so it would need hacking in again by cthree
