Default Why can't we search "Site Info" forum?

I tried to search for an answer, but alas, Search prevented me from doing it.

Why can't we do a search on the "Site Info" forum? "Site Info" does not show up in the "Search Where" list -- or if it is in there, it is not in the usual place. It was not in "General Interest", not in "Special Interest", "Marketplace", "Off-Topic" or "Meets and Events". I hope it was not buried in the "Communities" lists because I didn't look too hard there. So why is it not allowed to search the "Site Info" forum?

Should it matter as far as search is concerned?

I know, I've been here forever; just just too lazy to sign up.
