[QUOTE=Bass,Feb 4 2008, 07:48 AM] some guests add much more value than the 20.00 fee

this is a "community" and PAID membership is NOT required to belong

oh and to the COs and Mods in this thread..

do you still pay your dues because the "free" membership is a benefit to your title correct??
Actually, I do.

Not sure were I would find some of the information that I find here for DIYs and such. So the $50, yes I'm gold even though my stars are blue, is well worth the $$.
What's the going hourly rate at a Honda dealership?

I AGREE Freq but you have to remember none of this stuff is written by the owners of the board but rather members and guests

But the board is the medium supplied and maintained by the owners so that the members and guests can use it.

Erik makes some money out of it, but he works more hours than most maintaining the place. I know this from first hand experience.

The owners have never pledged to write stuff here.

You've been here long enough to know all of the above, so what's your point, Steve?

That isn't strictly true

Well I suppose it is, but whether the "contribution" is any good or not is an entirely different thing

You don't "have" to pay but I think they appreciate it if you do.
If you want to post something in the classifieds for sale you do.

That's true but the price is still pretty fair. $20 and you can sell as much as you want for any price you want for a year. What does eBay charge to sell a $2000 set of wheels? It's close to $50 IIRC.

Obviously it doesn't matter (because I'm a guest), but to a point I think that input from any member is worth considering.

This of coarse doesn't apply to those who complain about the lag.. or any other comments to that affect.

In any case though, you can complain about people complaining, but it wont really make a difference. So why stress over it?
