I'm trying to join in order to post on the UK For Sale board and I'm being asked by Paypal to create an account and become verified ??? (and this is after I select the option for those who don't have a Paypal account and want to pay with a credit/debit card).

I don't want a Paypal account, I don't want to be verified, I just want to pay and post !!! Am I asking too much?

i know but these days everyone has a paypal account. i bet the pope even has one

 

You dont need a paypal account, you can pay one off with a credit card, but using paypal.
