Perhaps you can shed the light on the subject... perhaps you were the one to remove my post? If it wasn't you, do you let your mods go around randomly deleting posts without giving a reason or warning? My post had no profanity, nothing out outlandish, but yet it mysteriously disappears. I know I didn't delete it. As far as I know, only admins and mods such as yourself have the ability to do this... mind providing an explanation for this?

I understand that, which is why I did tone my question down. You should've seen it before the fact.

I've not done any name calling and such in this post, just asked a simple question, nothing more, nothing less.

As Strike suggested, I posted a new thread to ask this question so I did.

Did my question seem harsh? If so, I didn't mean it to be. I am slightly upset but you can understand why.

Are you sure it didn't contravene any forum rules? Profanity and outlandishness are not the only criteria that would get a post deleted. Not following the rules for selling something or advertising for someone or something will also do it. Implicating something that would cast a poor light on another or on the forum itself would do it, too.

Nope, didn't break any of the rules in that regard. Either way, I think I should at least get a pm or email telling me what I did wrong.

Being that I post here often, I am pretty good with the rules and never break them.

I was just posting a rubuttal thread to Purge's thread.

Nothing wrong with that I think...

Yea, I am taken aback by this... I even checked all the forums I recently visited to make sure I didn't accidentally make the post somewhere else thinking it was my mistake.

My post was nothing bad and didn't ever think that anyone would want to delete it.

It's a computer system, they can screw up things too. I agree with Da Hapa, even though you did ask a straight question, to the reader it seemed like you were quite angry at a situation that may have been a simple mistake. It was more implicit, like a scolding of Why do you let your mods delete things at will. Without allowing c3 to even try to respond you were accusatory. So I'm sure c3 will give you a valid explanation as soon as he is aware of this post.

You shoulda posted this in "Site Info". Cthree checks that one all the time. He may not check this one regularly. Or just PM him.

I saw your thread before it was deleted or whatever. I remember wondering why you didn't just ask that question in the existing thread? Seemed like exactly the same topic to me. Maybe that had something to do with it.
