Default Why are there so many multiple posts lately?

When I visit a thread and see multiple posts, I thought the poster was just clicking the send button one too many times. But then the frequency of this lately got me wondering whether it could be due to some problem from the site.

Could be the lack of knowledge or not knowing how to edit a post. It took me a while to
discover how to do this; instead of creating another post, just editing your original post.

Or maybe they ARE clicking the Submit Reply button a few extra times if their screen does not
immediately take them back to the forum topic...slow computer, maybe

I have had this problem and I have noticed that several users in the UK forum who I know to be very computer / S2KI proficient have also experienced these issues - is there any update on this?

Alex.

Funny boy!
I don't think it's anything to do with anybody's slow computer. When I go to reply to a post and click on "submit", it sometimes gets "hung up" for quite some time and seems to do nothing so I click on "stop" and try again and again and again. Then it goes through only to discover that it actually did submit the first bunch of times. I then go back and "delete" the duplicates. I noticed today a notice from the forum admin that the board was going to be down for a while and when it got back up that things will be back up to the "old" speedy forum we once knew. This tells me that they were aware of the problem and did some maintenance and repair.

It's something we are working on but will take some time to fix.
