In the past the only method to replace the rear lower ball joints on our suspension knuckle has been to replace the entire knuckle. For those of us who have had accidents working on our cars, sometimes the ball joint threads become damaged or the joint itself fails. The knuckle assembly is still in tact, but just the ball joint is bad.
