Default Rubber for 17" ASA FR1's

Thanks to lig and CMG for their advice already just wanted to ask others their opinoin:

I purchased ASA FR1's from Meeyatch on the site and was wondering what the best size tire fitment would be. I have decided to get a pair of S-03's:

Currently I am thinking:

225/45/17 front
225/50/17 rear

Note: I do not have the car lowered but may in the future.

Thanks

I'm running 225/45/17 Front and 245/40/17 rear. I have no problem with this combo.

yeah, 225/50/17 will be too beefy for the rear IMO. Its significantly larger than the overall diameter of the stock wheel/tire.

You need to go with:

225/45-17 for fronts
255/40-17 for rears.

I've got this setup w/ Kuhmo MXs on ASAs, and the handling is very balanced. I originally had 245/40-17s delivered to me for the rears, and they were too small in overall diameter.

Here's a short review:

Absolutely stick with the above combo. I'm running Kumho MXs in these sizes and even with a 35mm drop they never rub.
